We have set up a public Mumble server for people to stay in contact/chatty outside of our TF2 servers, keeping the known friendly atmosphere around even if you can't be arsed to play TF2. All we ask is that when you're on the TF2 servers, you talk on the TF2 servers and not on Mumble (wouldn't want the servers lose the chattiness).
So, for those who know how to Mumble, here's the IP:
Part of the message is hidden for the guests. Please log in or register to see it.
For those that don't, here's a quick guide:
Download Mumble 1.2.3a client from here and follow the instructions.
Once you're done Mumble Server Connect will open with a list of countries/servers, click the "Add New"-button at the bottom right'ish and choose what you want to call your server (Label) and put in the address that is above, and choose a username and then OK.
And you're pretty much done, you can use Mumble as it is, or if you want you can register your username with the server (meaning you can't change in the future, and it is not mandatory, so don't do it lightly if you're the type who likes changing nicknames often).
As a final note, the same rules apply that apply everywhere else and it's still under development since none of us admins have used Mumble before (I think) so any feedback is appreciated... Hope to hear you there
